The photography exhibition showcases contemporary chinese stage photography techniques while exhibiting beautiful chinese folktales behind the choreographies. This is the door you open to traditional dance culture in China. The technical photographs show static beauty of dance instead of dynamic beauty. Being here, you are in stories from the east. Dance is the storyteller by photographs. Exploring Chinese traditional culture is engaging, motivating and exciting. The exhibition is held from Otc.15th to Nov.15th, 2017 at 1900 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60613.

As a curator, the purpose of this exhibition is to promote Chinese dance culture to abroad. All of the artworks are from 3 Chinese Photographers including chinese classical peroformances on stage, folk dance combined with technical shooting skills, and promotional posters for dance drama. From preparation to opening receptioin, it have taken one year to make it realize. During this time, I collaborated with the featured photographers to curate work and coordinate logistics, managed budget of $300 and plan out the timeline for the event, and contacted Media Group via email to promote the exhibition etc. This is a learning and growing process to open my horizon for career path.
